Different people use "noosphere" in different ways. One hypotheis is that "community consciousness" requires large numbers of interacting human consciousnesses in order to become detectable. The Global Consciousness Project might be able to detect such an effect. --JWSchmidt 13:26, 15 Jul 2005 (UTC)
